Privacy Policy for Graded

Graded (“the app”) is a climbing grade comparison table published by Matthieu Poncin. This policy applies to the iOS, Android, desktop, and web versions of the app.

What the app stores

Graded does not require an account and does not send your data to our servers. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.

On your device only, the app may store:

• Theme preference (light, dark, or system)
• Which grading systems are visible or pinned
• How many times the app has been opened (used only to decide when to show an optional store review prompt)

On Android these values may also be included in your device’s own backup (for example Google Backup) if you have backups enabled. We do not receive that backup.

What we do not collect

• Name, email, or other contact details through the app
• Location
• Climbing logs or photos
• Payment information

Third parties

If you tap a link in the app (source code on Codeberg, or Buy Me a Coffee), your browser or the destination site handles that visit under their own policies. We do not receive that traffic.

On iOS, an optional review prompt uses Apple StoreKit. On Android, an optional prompt uses Google Play In-App Review. Apple or Google may process that request under their policies. We do not receive your review text.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change.
